Definition of a Toxin

A poisonous substance, especially a protein, that is produced by living cells or organisms and is capable of causing disease when introduced into the body tissues but is often also capable of inducing neutralizing antibodies or antitoxins.

What is a Toxin? Where do they come from?

A toxin is poison to the body and breaks it down. Toxins as in heavy metals (mercury (amalgam fillings), lead, arsenic etc), pesticides, herbicides are carcinogenic (cancer causing) which can create cancer, trigger neurological disorders etc….here is a short list of SOME of the chronic health challenges often triggered by toxins.

Related to Environmental Toxins

We are talking about toxins associated with processed foods, unfiltered water and air pollution.

Household chemicals and cosmetics are also a factor. We are assaulted each day with poisons in our air, water, food and homes.

Here is a partial list found in every day life.

  • Trans-fatty acids (from fast foods)
  • Chemicals additives in pre-packed food.
  • Insecticides residues.
  • Prescriptions drugs.
  • Alcohol.
  • Cigarette smoke.
  • Formaldehyde( from new carpet and processed-wood furniture)
  • Hair dyes, cosmetics and deodorants.
  • Gasoline.
  • Chlorinated water.
  • Home cleaning fluids.

The list grows ongoing.

What does all this have to do with excess weight?

It`s the key to the overweight epidemic because these toxins reside in our fat and interrupt our body`s natural processes.

North America is in a health crisis, with nutritional deficiencies on the rise

Chemicals and toxins in our environment and foods are polluting our body and can cause illness,

Cleansing your body internally and replacing it with nutrients is essential to greater health and well-being and to losing weight.

In Conclusion

No matter what the health challenge is, it is imperative to detoxify the body. If we don’t, all the supplements and foods we eat have to wade through a sea of toxins and pathogens and debris in the blood and lymph. Many of these nutrients do not reach the cells, and so the body remains ill.

Let’s all manifest abundant health together and share these with everyone. The most important aspect of our lives is to help ourselves and then share with others.
