Matol Moments
![]()
In 1922, I planted a seed. He who plants a tree brings everyday a fresh reality beautiful and strong creates a natural shelter as soft as a love song. He who plants a tree plants peace under its evergreen curtain of shadows soft with sleep. He who plants a tree plants youth full of vigor and life that hints at eternity because with age there lies the soul of youth and immortality. He who plants a tree plants love. He who plants a tree may not live to see but because of his gift in heaven and on earth his work its own rewards shall be. Once, a long time ago, Karl told us, I know what I am giving you. One day you will know what you are receiving. Well, we all are just beginning to realize how precious your gift to us really is, Karl. In this moment of silence only your voice is missing. The moments of your life you offered us will always be an inspiration because you live in each of our hearts. Whenever you see a friend in need, be a friend indeed. All this because many years ago I planted a seed. I’m so glad to be able to share in all these stories As long as your heart feels as if you are doing something for your fellow man, you are on the right track, He was a simple man who made everyone around him feel comfortable, as if they had known him all their life.> Louis Otis who said, Karl was the nucleus, the soul of Matol Botanical International. He shared with us his message of love, Bloom, bloom, my beautiful. Wherever I go, I will always watch over you. Anthony Jurak, his son shared some of the hard-learned values he remembered from his father: Wisdom is not a flower to be plucked but a mountain to climb, and, A superior man fights only great battles. And Robert Bolduc speaking on behalf of all Matol Distributors and corporate staff, I recognized Karl as, ... more than a husband, a father and grandfather; more than a teacher and a friend. Karl, you are the illuminating inspiration that has transformed our lives forever. We shall never be alone because while you were here, you loved us.
