Foods That Cause Constipation.

Do you know what are the foods that cause constipation? so that you can limit or avoid the intake of these foods. it is important for you to know what foods are beneficial to the prevention and treatment of constipation.

Constipation is an uncomfortable and a very embarrassing situation I can tell yoy that from my own experiemce. And it is true that certain foods can be blamed for causing your discomfort. If you are looking forward to eliminating the issue of constipation in your life, then you should consider making some dietary changes. It worked very well for me.

Foods that Cause Constipation.

1. Processed foods – refined white flour, white rice, sugars and all processed prepackaged foods where the fiber has been removed.

2. Foods high in hydrogenated and animal fats – cheese, ice cream, fatty meats, whole milk and snacks like chips and pizza.

3. High sugar, caffeine and non-nutritional drinks – alcohol, coffee, colas and fruit juice (since the fiber has been removed).

The main causes of constipation.

Too little fiber in the diet Not drinking enough water Lack of exercise Stress and tension Drugs and Medications Disrupted routine (as when traveling) Intentionally holding back (common in children)

Bowel problems can also be a symptom of diseases, such as irritable bowel syndrome and metabolism, endocrine and nervous system conditions.

Treatment The first step in treating constipation is to understand that normal frequency varies widely, from three bowel movements a day to three a week. Each person must determine what is normal to avoid becoming dependent on laxatives.

For most people, dietary and lifestyle improvements can lessen the chances of constipation. A well-balanced diet that includes fiber-rich foods, such as unprocessed bran, whole-grain bread, and fresh fruits and vegetables, is recommended.

Drinking plenty of fluids and exercising regularly will help to stimulate intestinal activity. Special exercises may be necessary to tone up abdominal muscles after pregnancy or whenever abdominal muscles are lax.

Bowel habits also are important. Sufficient time should be set aside to allow for undisturbed visits to the bathroom. In addition, the urge to have a bowel movement should not be ignored.
